About Me

David Sheffet, a former Student Athlete at Bentley University, is currently Private Equity Analyst at Cayden Capital while pursuing my MBA at Capital University.

David specializes in Fin-Tech, Marketing Analytics, Blockchain, and Crypto.

I graduated from Bentley University in Massachusetts, where I was a student athlete. Immersing myself in the Bentley community as a proud member of the Falcons football team, our triumph in clinching the New England 10 Conference championship marked a moment of great pride. Alongside achievements like being the first member of the TD Ameritrade Crypto Team and excelling as a top-performing intern, I've demonstrated my avid learning spirit. Additionally, I played a part in CareAR's spinout from Xerox, gaining invaluable life lessons in hard work, perseverance, and teamwork.

I have a great drive to achieve and a fiery passion for continuous improvement in all aspects of my life. I have an innate ability to view things from many different angles and coupled with my strategic thinking; I see patterns others do not see and ask questions others would not think to ask. I am able to use these qualities to take deliberate action while minimizing risk and maximizing outcomes. I have high aspirations, a disdain for mediocrity, and strive for the exceptional.

At Bentley beyond the field, I became deeply involved with Project Connect, fostering meaningful connections and contributing to campus improvement initiatives. Serving as Bentley University's representative to the NCAA's Inclusion programs, including Athletes Using Their Power and Athletes for Hope, was another highlight of my journey, allowing me to contribute to a more inclusive and positive athletic community. In my senior year, I continued to excel academically and demonstrated strong leadership qualities, all while extending my internships due to an exceptional work ethic. Being a part of the Bentley University Football team's historic victory and achieving a 12-game winning streak with a national ranking of 6th was a crowning achievement. These experiences have shaped me into a mature, hardworking, and business-minded individual with excellent interpersonal and team skills, who thrives in high-stress situations.

Addtionally, I served as a Mental Wellness Facilitator with Project Connect, spearheading initiatives to enhance student mental health and campus connectivity. Additionally, as a Bentley Student Advisory Board Member, I provided valuable input on admission processes and marketing materials to foster a diverse and inclusive student community.

I graduated from Montclair Kimberly Academy in New Jersey, where my high school experience was characterized by active involvement in extracurricular activities and charitable endeavors. Notably, I served as the President of MKA TV, an organization dedicated to broadcasting sporting events, performances, and school-wide assemblies to the wider MKA community. Additionally, I held a position on the MKA Honor Council, responsible for upholding the school's Honor Code. My commitment extended to various athletic programs, including the football team, where I was honored with the Weiner Award during my senior year for displaying exemplary performance both on and off the football field. Outside of school, I initiated charitable organizations, "X for Autism" and "Tackles for Autism," which collectively raised over $10,000 to support research into this syndrome that profoundly impacts numerous families.
